2008北京奥运歌曲征集工作如火如荼

奥运歌曲一直是历届奥运会当中备受关注的话题。北京2008年奥运会歌曲的征集评选活动进入第四轮，收到音乐作品420多部，歌词4800多首，其中绝大多数出自专业作者之手，并具备了一定的水准。最终评选出的奥运歌曲将在北京奥运会倒计时100天时公布。

During the fourth round of the campaign for a Beijing 2008 Olympic theme song, more than 420 musical scores and 4,800 lyrics have been composed, organizers of Beijing Organizing Committee of the 2008 Olympic Games (BOCOG) said.

Most of the works come from professional musicians and according to BOCOG the quality is "quite high".

BOCOG said earlier that the deadline to submit candidate songs was March 10, 2008.

The worldwide solicitation, which was launched on Jan. 21, also targets a theme song for the 2008 Paralympic Games as well as theme songs for the torch relay and awarding ceremonies.

The theme song for the 2008 Olympics will be unveiled 100 days before the opening ceremony of the Games.
