"Roll With the Proles"
When it comes to bicycles, all roads lead to China. Turn over any piece, part or accessory in the little bike shop I used to own in Toronto and you will find "Made in China/ Fabrique en Chine". So when I left Toronto for the so-called "Mecca" of bicycles, I figured it would be a natural meeting of minds - East meets West in the bike lane, rubbing handlebars and kissing tires as we veer toward a better tomorrow, two wheels working in unison carrying our loads and lifting our spirits. Well, rolling with the proletariat required more lubricant than I thought as some rust and friction impeded my lofty expectations.
